How often do you publish the newsletter?
The Thirsty Scholar is published once weekly though the plan is to make it bi-weekly (twice in a week). I will strive to curate and provide timely and relevant content that keeps my readers well-informed on the latest data points, insights and updates in international education.
Who is the target audience of The Thirsty Scholar?
While the initial focus will be on students from India, the content is universally relevant to international students from any country. Additionally, parents, counselors, and mentors supporting prospective students will find these insights and guidance invaluable.
Who is behind this newsletter?
I bring a diverse background in education and professional experience to The Thirsty Scholar. Having studied on scholarship at Bowdoin College and the London School of Economics and obtained my MBA from Wharton, my career spans over a decade in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse in New York and London. I've also been a tech entrepreneur and worked with the IFC World Bank's Disruptive Technologies Team. Over these years, I have also mentored and worked with students and guided both undergrads and MBAs to some of the top schools in the US and UK including Stanford, Wharton, Duke, Columbia, MIT, Amherst, Williams, Brown, Chicago, Dartmouth, Northwestern, NYU, Carleton, INSEAD, LBS, Imperial and many more. I am keen to share all these valuable insights with as many students and their families.
